Nassua, Bahamas - Atlantis

Again we sailed through the night to Nassau, the Bahamian Capital. We had managed to book a day trip to the Atlantis Resort, which is apparently a very famous complex (Casino Royale was filmed in it's casino, many celebs have stayed there as it boasts an amazing "bridge penthouse"). This was all a bit lost on us, and compared with the quality of the Disney ship, it seemed a little tired. But it's aquarium was the other drawcard, so we kept an open mind.

The beach was just gorgeous! It was crystal clear and safe, and had great fish for the kids to look at.

The Aquarium called "The Dig" is an artistic rendition of what it would be like to visit the lost city of Atlantis - and this was definitely a highlight!

Then it was back to the ship! Another great feature onboard was the Nemo play park - this is a water/splash park for the little ones, which Luke absolutely loved! Even Daddy couldn't keep off the slide.

After another lovely meal, we thought we would hit the nightclub again before bed - this was an absolute hoot! Luke feels very at home on the dance floor, while Thomas is a bit more "cirque de soleil" about it - with some crazy acrobatics. Livvy gets into it, but mostly loves to dance with her dad.
