Given we enjoyed the lunch experience with the Princesses so much, we thought we would book the Breakfast at Chef Mickeys for the next day (our last full day at Disney). This venue was in the Contemporary Hotel, one of the newest in "The World" and right next door to Magic Kingdom, which was the park we felt could do with a second visit.
Anyway, as this was Day 7 the kids (and parents!) were pooped!! We pulled them out of bed (at 10am, mind you!), got them dressed and the boys only woke up in the taxi........we were pushing the limits! But we were on a mission to get the full Disney experience - and Chef Mickeys breakfast was a great way to get close to the main characters.
Here we were again........ back at Magic Kingdom! As it had rained on our previous visit, it was really nice to see it again with beautiful blue skies! We managed to catch a few of the street shows and parades we had missed previously.
The Florida heat seemed to take on a new meaning in the full sunshine - it was all a bit much for Luke! - but Trent, Liv and Thomas had a fab time on the Big Thunder Mountain ride.
Then it was time for the main street parade - and while it looked the most of the performers were melting before our very eyes, it was a wonderful memory to take away with us. Disney was DONE!
