After an uneventful, freeway drive up from Miami in our big rig Lincoln Navigator, we're now in Orlando and the "fun parks stage" of our trip.
First cab off the rank is Legoland. We chose a non-disney park to begin, as we still have the car we hired, and thought we'd use that for a couple of days to get further a field.
Our kids were at the perfect age for this park (pitched at 2 to 12 year olds), as they could do most of the rides and it had cute, cheesy shows - not to mention a fab waterpark.
Liv and Thomas loved the car driving, and both earned their drivers licence! And the 4D movie was really run - although, Luke wasn't sure what to make of it! Plus the Lego sculptures dotted around the park were impressive.
