Return to Castaway Cay

We were excited to be returning to Castaway Cay, Disney's private island, for our last day of our cruise around the Bahamas. We woke up to beautiful sunshine, so the water appeared even bluer than before!

Funny faces!

After a yummy lunch, we hit the soft serve machine. This one of the most exciting parts of the trip for the kids! On this particular day, there were second helpings of ice cream, and possibly thirds....... well, it was hot!!

We discovered more of the islands activities this time, and Spring-a-leak baby splash area was a huge hit with our lot!

Soon it was time to head back to the ship, to set sail for Port Canaveral.

As it was our last night on the ship, and we were dining in the Royal Palace restaurant again, we thought it was a great excuse to dress up, and Livvy opted for her Rapunzel gown!

Day at Sea - Pirate Deck Party

The next day was a day at sea. This was great as it gave us a chance to use some of the facilities. The kids had an hour or so at the kids club while we went to the gym, then we all hit the pools and slides - and mummy even snuck off for a yummy spa treatment, while daddy and the kids headed to one of the cinemas to catch a Brave (the latest Disney movie).

It was also nice to have time to enjoy the view from our balcony.

Then it was time to get ready for the pirate deck party - we donned our standard issue bandanas, but as you can imagine, many people went all out dressing up for this event. It was a beautiful evening.

The crew put on a fabulous pirate show, with all the disney favourites.

After the show we checked out the putt putt golf and basketball court, and also the Aquaduck waterslide which shoots out from the side of the ship and loops around the deck. Very cool!!

After dinner, there was a continuation of the Pirate panto, followed by fireworks and a rocking deck party! So much fun!!!!
